Dictionary Art For Thanksgiving

I just wanted to pop in quick to share the Give Thanks dictionary art I made.  I used a piece of cardstock in  a parchment like color.  I found a great variety pack of card stock at Walmart, which has grey and other neutral colors.

I first printed a dictionary page on a piece of card stock.  Then I put the printed paper back into the printer and printed over it with my image.  I usually print the image on a piece of plain paper first, and guestimate how it will line up on the dictionary print, making sure I have the image positioned where I want it.

I saved the image to a word document and then added the lettering.  I've found it works better to use dark and heavy print images on top of the dictionary print, as they show up more.

The dictionary page I used was saved from an old link at Graphics Fairy, but no longer appears to be available.  However, I found several links to dictionary/book pages that Angie at Knick of Time posted HERE

This is a raven image I used for Halloween.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Thanks for stopping by,
