Some Great Finds and An Update

In the two weeks since the Flea Market, we have found some great antique pieces.   This weekend we found this  wonderful rocker.  The gentleman who sold it to us thought it was probably close to 100 years old.  The seat was stuffed with straw.   It is definitely very old, but in excellent shape with a sturdy spring seat.  We also found this great old chandelier and have plans for a big makeover.

We have just started to list some of our items on Etsy.  This enables us to accept credit cards for payment through Paypal.  We plan to list some of the antique furniture this way also, but it will only be available for local pick up in the Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN areas.

We are still considering our options for future sales.  We sold so much of our merchandise at the Flea Market that we were afraid we couldn't build up adequate inventory to participate in  upcoming fall sales.   I live on a little farm and would love to have a barn sale in the spring.   So, that is one possibility.  For now, we will use Etsy and maybe Craigslist.  We will continue to add new listings to our Etsy shop and post updates of listings here.  I've changed the settings here so anyone should be able to comment on posts, even if you aren't registered.  We would love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by our little blog!
